One of the highlights of the 2018 Special Equipment Market Association Show was our visit to the Hennessey Performance display to see the 2019 VelociRaptor V-8. The 2018 VelociRaptor was a hit for Hennessey, and we were eager to see this year's version. In this video, you can hear founder and CEO John Hennessey talk about his newest creation, the ferocious 758-horsepower, 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 VelociRaptor based on a 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCab. Not only does he talk about what it takes to make this kind of custom Raptor king of beasts, you also can hear several screaming Mustangs in the background. Thank goodness we had clip-on microphones; we could barely hear each other. The VelociRaptor makes a pretty nice sound as well.
